Although it’s has been standing empty for some considerable time and the weather has clearly taken it’s toll on the exteriors, the house is essentially in good shape – the dilapidation is mostly superficial.

This gorgeous example of authentic rustic living would only suit those looking to sink their teeth into a serious renovation project.

Whilst changes in Spanish land law now being effectively enforced in this part of Spain mean it’s not possible to add built areas to the property, it would be possible to extend the existing interior zones of the lounge and/or one or both of the bedrooms out into the covered terrace area.

Any renovation work would require somewhere in the region of €140-150.000 on top of the buying price to convert the property and its grounds in to a modern 21st century standard.

But, it would be money wisely spent as the new law means there are just no longer any available plots of rustic land with permission build anywhere in the area, and there won’t be for the forseeable future.
