Lago de los Flamingos

I have to say that having just visited the complex of apartments and penthhouses for sale in El Lago de Los Flamingos, it is without doubt one of the most beautiful complexes I’ve seen on the Costa del Sol.

Everything about the place suggests the highest quality – it quite simply stands head and shoulders above most other luxury apartment complexes on offer in the area.

For a start there’s its location directly overlooking the golf course and the natural lake in the Los Flamingos Golf Resort, just a stone’s throw from the prestigious 5-star Villa Padierna Hotel.

Then there’s the architectural design of the two buildings that house the complex’s 32 properties, which look more like grand Tuscan villas than apartment blocks.

And as if all that weren’t enough, the complex is blessed with gorgeous communal garden areas that are pure Tuscany – sweeping manicured lawns, symmetrical yellow gravel pathways bordered by hedgerows and tall cypress trees.

But it’s no surprise when you consider the development was designed by the very same architect responsible for the Villa Padierna, regarded as one of the leading hotels of the world.

As far as the apartments for sale in Lago de Los Flamingos go, there are a selection of 1-bedroom apartments and 4-bedroom penthouses still available starting at prices that might surprise you.

For instance, this 1-bedroom ground floor apartment is on the market for just €250,000 and opens directly out on to the complex’s gardens, whilst this 3-bedroom duplex penthouse is for sale at €745,000.

Both properties are built to a high standard and represent excellent value for money.
