Doncella Beach Estepona

Doncella Beach is a brand new elite complex of luxury beachside apartments and penthouses overlooking the beach in Estepona on Spain’s Costa del Sol. Having just been granted its first occupation licence, the apartments are now ready for sale.

Located roughly 15 minutes walk west of the centre of Estepona on the quiet stretch of beachside road past the town’s marina, the complex is named after ‘Punta Doncella,’ the spit of sand that juts out into the sea on the beach at the complex’s most westerly point.

It’s bordered to the west by a private villa and to the east by both a stream and small forest of Eucalyptus trees, which is designated as protected parkland and can never be commercially developed in the future.

And to the south there’s nothing but the beach and the glorious Mediterreanean.

In fact, the apartments in the 3 front line beach blocks are literally 25m. from the sand and the beach here is sandy with easy access to the sea.

With 7 blocks of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5-bedroom apartments, penthouses and duplex penthouses of varying sizes (some 85 units all told), Doncella Beach is aimed at a very elite clientele indeed.

It’s a simple case of ‘you get what you pay for’ and with Doncella Beach, you certainly get the best money can buy.

The low-level blocks  are named after the Greek gods Hermes, Apollo, Zeus, Artemis, Aphrodite, Poseidon and Athena.

They’re constructed at differing levels, so that as many of apartments as possible in the blocks furthest from the beach have sea views.

Each of the complex’s 4 show flats  were designed by esteemed interior designers ID Latinia, Pedro Peña and Juan Carlos Morel, plus Dutch designer Erwin Hamming-Schott.

The quality of each apartment is evident upon entering.

From the cream marble heated floors, the Travertino Marble bathrooms and the Climalit double-glazing, to the Domotic home control system, the white Xey kitchen units and the Siemens appliances, only the best materials have been used here.

The living areas are all very spacious indeed and there’s a real feeling of light openness in each apartment.

The kitchen units feature that built-in electric plate heaters. The bathrooms have pre-fitted heated towel rails as standard. The Domotic home control system allows you to ‘open up the house’ when you arrive – switching the air conditioning on, selecting your favourite music on the stereo, opening the window blinds, all at a touch of a button.

The terraces too can be enclosed at a small additional cost by movable, rotating glass windows, making them the ideal spot in which to relax both in the height of summer and on the coolest of winter days.

The penthouses come with vast partially-covered terraces and their own private infinity pools, which feature wave generators.

These terraces have epic views, not only of the sea immediately in front of the complex, but also across the Straits of Gibraltar to the famous Pillars of Hercules.

Owners here also have the exclusive use of a semi-Olympic sized outdoor swimming pool with an accompanying kiddies pool, both of which are surrounded by stylish wooden decking.

There’s also a bar, plus a fully-equipped gym, a sauna, steam room and a Jacuzzi.
